GoHealth is seeking a dynamic and driven product manager capable of guiding our products into the future. This product leader will sit within GoHealth's engineering-focused technology organization and play a central role in defining, articulating, and executing our product vision.   • Developing GoHealth's product vision by collaborating across the organization to identify key areas of focus to which the application of new products or product enhancements can generate significant business value.
  • Working closely with diverse stakeholders to produce a well-defined product roadmap which executes a product vision and exhibits sound, sustainable technical design and high business value.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited (competitive preferred) college or university in fields such as computer science, mathematics, engineering, or other technical disciplines.
  • 2 years preferred working in a product and/or technical leadership role in a high growth company.
  • 3 years preferred working in a technical/engineering role. Comfort in discussing engineered systems in technical detail is a must.

GoHealth is looking for a Project Manager with a strong technical Agile project management background and a series of successes leading sprints to join our Performance Data team.  We are a team of high performance, quality-driven data scientists, analysts, and engineers who are excited to drive and inform the strategic goals of GoHealth’s executive leaders.  

The Project Manager's primary role is to remove impediments from the team’s ability to deliver its commitments and goals.  He or she will serve as the link between the team’s Data Engineering and Strategic Analytics divisions, as well as the liaison between the Performance Data team and business unit leaders.

GoHealth employs an agile methodology and fully embraces the fundamentals of continuous delivery, self-organizing teams, just-in-time requirements, only as much documentation as truly needed, and processes that make sense for the organization (not just for the sake of process). 

Responsibilities

  • Utilize daily team meetings and other techniques to identify impediments and find ways to remove them.
  • Ensure that the team process is used as intended, and is considered the enforcer of rules.
  • Schedule and facilitate planning sessions, demonstrations and retrospectives, and ensure the team gets value out of ceremonies.
  • Build release and scrum/iteration plans, while keeping the team focused on current development cycle (sprint/iteration).
  • Report on the health/status of the development cycle/iteration/sprint.
  • Use retrospectives, coach the team to adopt a continuous delivery mindset.
  • Coach the team to follow the processes and identify ways to improve the processes.

Qualifications

This candidate will be key in helping GoHealth manage the team backlog, track backlog burn down, and maintain organization to ensure executional success.  We are looking for someone communicative and enthusiastic with a keen eye for detail.  Special emphasis put on the following:

  • 3+ years of technical experience in Agile environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into requirements for operations and report delivery.
  • Situational Awareness – must be the first to notice differences and issues as they arise and elevate them to management.
  • Assertiveness – must be able to ensure Agile concepts and principles are adhered to by providing a voice of reason and authority.
  • Understanding basic fundamentals of iterative development, with a focus on minimum viable product.
  • Ability to acquire respect from team while demonstrating a willingness to “get hands dirty” when needed to get the job done

Job Description

The IT Support Specialist is part of a team of IT professionals who provide leadership in maintaining a well-functioning technical environment and the in-house technical hardware, software and system support required by that operational environment. Members of this team work with a variety of equipment and systems including desktops, laptops, network connectivity, and Windows/Mac/Linux software.

The person in this position will take pride in proactively fine-tuning our environment to anticipate and avoid technical issues as well as rapidly responding to technical issues impacting key business operations.  They will spend the majority of their time engaged with staff and systems, understanding technical needs, performing workstation installations, providing desktop support and system maintenance, troubleshooting connectivity issues, supporting office/email applications, and addressing other network-wide and desktop-level issues. They provide technical support in activities associated with the identification, prioritization and resolution of reported problems, whether general maintenance / low-complexity IT problems or more complex issues identified and escalated to a higher level of support.

Responsibilities

  • Help build and deploy tools and systems that assist GoHealth's Engineering, QA, and Operations team, to deliver high-quality software
  • Work with development to help evolve our continuous delivery process
  • Monitor and respond to alerts from technology infrastructure in order to ensure proper SLA's are met
  • Work throughout the technology stack to design, build, and monitor solutions that allow for continued scalability
  • Document work associated with troubleshooting, while utilizing problem solving skills
  • Remain flexible
  • Have a strong sense of ownership for system uptime and performance

 

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of managing a Linux cluster environment (RHEL, CentOS)
  • Exceptional skills with one or more scripting languages (bash, Python, Perl, Ruby or similar)
  • Proven experience using configuration management tools such as Puppet or Chef

Job Description

GoHealth is looking for Data Engineers who will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of data transformation tasks used in transforming data into a format that can be easily analyzed. We are seeking candidates who have experience in data analysis, collection, and optimization for the purpose of informing business decisions. The Data Engineer will work with other team members in owning data pipelines
including execution, documentation, maintenance, and metadata management. They will also support the development of the data infrastructure necessary for full scale data science, predictive analytics and machine learning.

Qualifications

  • Design, develop and deploy optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various GoHealth and external data sources.
  • Monitor, execute and report on all data pipeline tasks while working with appropriate teams to take corrective action quickly, in case of

  • Perform unit testing, system integration testing and assist with user acceptance testing.
  • Adapt data components to accommodate changes in source data and new business requirements.
  • Create and maintain documentation of the technical detail design, operational support and maintenance procedures for all data pipeline

  • Ensure data quality and compliance with development, architecture, reporting, and regulatory standards throughout entire data pipeline.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent experience required.
  • 2+ years of experience in the design and development of data pipelines and tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving ability with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional data modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting performance issues and fine tuning SQL queries.
  • Experience in Python including in modules/libraries such as pandas, numpy, Flask, scikit-learn, and sci-py.
  • Proven experience extracting data from structured data sources (SQL, Excel, CSV files, Couchbase) and unstructured data sources
  • (Splunk, log files) both on-premise and in the cloud.
  • Experience consuming data from web services, REST and SOAP, HTML, XML and JSON.
  • Knowledge of version control systems using Git, Bitbucket, SVN, or Team Foundation.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to evolving business and technical environments.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and learn new skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex processes to individuals of varying technical abilities
  • Experience in software engineering practices is required.
  • Experience in Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, Power BI, or Azure is preferred but not required.
  • Familiar with other data warehouse platforms like AWS Redshift or AWS Data Pipeline.
Typical Day
  1. Join the team's daily meeting the includes other data engineers, data scientists, and data analysts.
  2. Review open git pull requests, JIRA tickets, and Airflow DAG runs.
  3. Work with the Data Engineering team and various teams on the following: Analyzing, designing, and implementing Airflow DAGs and Operators, RESTful services, integration with external and internal
  4. RESTful services (e.g. Hubspot, Five9, etc.)
  5. Troubleshooting issues and resolving them – Airflow, SSIS, Tableau, SQL Server, SSRS, AWS, MySQL, Couchbase, etc.
  6. Design, implement, and evolve GoHealth's data pipelines, Tableau data sources and data extracts, build and test automation (Jenkins, python, bash, gradle), etc.
  7. Participate or lead Demo Wednesdays and Release Thursdays.
  8. Join the weekly Data Engineering team meeting to review the roadmap and progress on projects.

The Principal Software Engineer will be designing high-performing, scalable, web based software solutions that must handle a high volume of transactions each day. This is a lead role and we are looking for a candidate to bring passion and dedication to this position. Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar field is preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering (software design, architecture, implementation, deployment, and support)
  • Proven experience collaborating with multiple business layers, both internal and external, to deliver Java based SaaS products through all aspects of the SDLC
  • Thorough understanding of software development process, automation, and testing
  • Well-rounded experience, with a full stack background in front-end and back-end Java development (strong Java and Javascript experience is required)
  • Front-end experience with Typescript, Javascript, Angular, React, Nodejs and/or Redux helpful
  • Experience with Linux or *BSD, and Open Source tools, frameworks, and technologies
  • Previous leadership experience is required- could be the most senior technical staff, or a CTO of a small company
  • Experience with various hosting solutions (AWS, Heroku, VPS, on-premise, etc.)
  • Fluent on topics of networking, transport protocols, security, and monitoring
  • Deep knowledge of SOA, SOAP/WS, EDI, messaging systems
